Minneapolis: you will lose digits today if you don’t adequately protect them. Inflatable pickle costumes are tight as hell but unless you’ve got a gravity heater in there with you I’d suggest you leave it at home. Base layers, chemical hand and foot warmers, and pair of leather choppers are best.

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

Really focus your attention on Minneapolis. This is what they want in every metro in America. If we can’t hand them a humiliating defeat now, your town will be in line. The stakes could not be any higher but my city is standing defiantly in the face of fascism. I’m so fucking proud.

The injunction certainly won’t make anything worse, but I’m just saying without explicitly defining the line between protest and obstruction, it’s still at the discretion of ICE to determine what that is. Anyone who’s been here in the last week knows that includes saying mean things and driving.
