The longer that moderate position is defied, the more people will be asking why we're not making use of all these lampposts.

it is no big puzzle why the venn diagram between school shooters and fascist shooters is rapidly converging to full overlap. Columbinerism is, and always has been, neofascist, because it asserts the divine right of annihilation

With all the arrests, re-upping my piece on how the church protesters are in the right — and this church is worse than you imagine.
I looked into Cities Church, which was protested for having an ICE agent as a pastor.

You already thought they were right-wing. But they're far worse than you thought.

They're ground zero for the "empathy is a sin" idea, among others.

How do you even try to engage with a person trying to justify ICE agents murdering innocent people?

What can you even resolve to do with those people besides remove them from situations where they might harm others?

OK, so Musk was planning to go to Epstein's island, but it's not like he went there with the intent to go to a wild party or something, it was probably just some business. Excuse me, an email just came in.

Autocratic regimes hate the free press. They hate journalism because they don’t want to be held accountable. These Minnesota journalists are being targeted because journalism has prevented this administration from doing even more insane things in Minnesota. Remember it was video that proved lying …

One of Musk's more effective gambits to get ahead of this was to point out that the reason the Epstein Files weren't coming out is that Trump is in them.
There are 1400 mentions of DOGE founder Elon Musk in the Epstein files.

Democrats are truly failing to read the room here. Trump has made a complete tear down and reconstruction of the entire concept of police in America not only desirable, but completely necessary.

Every police force in the country is tainted.

The Democrats helped this by ballooning police budgets.

Nick Fuentes called Alex Pretti a “race traitor” for opposing ICE.

I argue that sentiment is actually widespread on the MAGA right.

After Alex Pretti’s Murder, it’s Clear That MAGA Media Views White Liberals as Race Traitors
MAGA is committed to the belief that the people ICE is pursuing are inherently bad and that therefore opposing ICE is standing with criminals and rapists against the American people.

You don't win fights you won't fight, or if you fight the wrong fight. Minnesotans are fighting the right fight; absolute non-acceptance of that which is absolutely unacceptable. Democrats in office should honor them by fighting that fight too.

And that's all I got to say about that (for now).

If Democrats won't do what is needed, we must replace them. Not because we want Democrats to fail, but because we want Democrats who might succeed--and not just at attaining the office. We need Democrats to win, but not for its own sake; rather, *because* we need what needs doing to get done.
