I'm housed now, but not because of any assistance program. Just lucky, and friends.

But for many others with long COVID, their housing instability journey is just beginning.

Great day building community benches with Sunrise Movement KC. Kansas Citians deserve safe, comfortable places to rest, and it was inspiring to build something real together.

Grateful to everyone who showed up and made it happen.

Stats that are impossible to ignore. Tip of the iceberg.
Gosh, why and how could that be? Such an enigma!

I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.
Delicious Ambiguity.

Alice Wong was one of the most effective people challenging the Whiteness of disability communities and its many flaws, but who believed fiercely in us as a community, in disabled people as oracles.

Alice brought so much to so many of us, it’s hard to measure the kind of gratitude I have for that.

Absolutely wrecked with grief at these two losses.

@leslieleeiii.bsky.social’s Long Covid journey has mirrored my own and for the same length of time.

@sfdirewolf.bsky.social has been a beacon of light, joy, hope, and inspiration for so many of us. She will be deeply missed by her community.

Michael Wolff tried to buy New York Mag — with money from Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein.

So Wolff didn't just have a reporter-source relationship with Epstein. Nor was Wolff his informal PR adviser. They saw each other as potential business partners.

Exactly this…
I really fear that this is just the beginning. They aren’t going to relinquish power that easily.
Really unnerving point from Nicole Hemmer, historian of the right: Trump's Epstein fiasco could drive MAGA to push him to go even fuller authoritarian, because the whole project is now in such serious doubt. She's so good on MAGA's future.

Not a shitpost: #NoKings is feel-good performative activism for comfortable mostly upper and upper middle class white folks and that’s good, actually. Millions of people in the streets protesting a fascist regime is good. It is good for the normie baseline to be massive displays of public dissent.
