Ubiquitous Meh!'s "..songs do feel stronger, with the organ ruder and more insistent [on Oddville].. more upfront, pushing harder than on The Love Pseudomorph [..] an opportunity to assess their artistic progress and still barely takes up half an hour of your time". #postpunk #musicreview t.ly/XOW4K

Correction - my spouse is enjoying GrRzZz in this. He did enjoy Michael but it’s not in this clip.
Acid Horse 2025.
So worth extending way too much energy on despite always sitting down, two naps a day and early nights.

This vid features

Arrived in time to catch the last five minutes of Hitiloma & Natalie Sharp. Saw the Howling, Trans/human, Twistwch Y Fenywod, all excellent. The highlight for me though was Ubiquitous Meh. So good.

I’m stuck in the bath (not physically).

I have been reading more books. I have a big mental barrier to starting new books, especially fiction.

I thought if I was in a bath that might do it. Just 5 or 10 minutes before I have a little wash and get out.

But it’s 11.30 and I guess I live here now.

I think for me it’s like I’ve found a nice non profit bar that sells organic lager but everyone I know is still having a massive party at the Wetherspoons over the road, and I am not able yet to creat enough vibe off my own back.
Oh Bluesky how I want to love you, but despite deleting Twitter from my phone at the start of March I still yearn for the snarkiness (and also the sensible debate). I keep wanting to check back in as it really was the funniest place to keep track of Elon's meltdowns. Where am I going wrong here?

I care about men’s health, I really do, but so many lines in this article made me fume.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

“It was his wife who finally managed to push Dan to see the doctor”

“And they're [women are] largely in control of organising their family's healthcare, too”

If you’re doing the “trans men in women’s toilets” gotcha, 1) you’re making what was always a crap argument 2) you’re revealing that you haven’t read the UK Supreme Court judgment because it says trans men aren’t allowed in women’s spaces (because we look like men) OR men’s spaces

Pretty sickened by UK's Supreme Court 🤮

So I'm opening my submission inbox to unagented trans authors in the UK until the END OF APRIL. I'm not currently open to general subs BUT if you're a trans author writing folk horror, weird, experimental, mystery, literary/upmkt fiction, take a look below 👇

A bit of a daytime bump ICYMI.

How you interpret the brief is up to you but, as ever with our zines, we are looking for bold, creative and original work that challenges "traditional" views of the Dartmoor landscape and offer fresh perspectives on the moor.

We can't wait to see your work.
We're excited to announce an open call to #Dartmoor visual artists, printmakers and photographers for our 4th zine, entitled 'Flow'.
Exploring themes of change, movement and time, the zine will feature words by artist and writer Kirsteen McNish.

Anyway, I’ve done a video game movie double bill this week: Grand Theft Hamlet (for me) and A Minecraft Movie for my kid. The first was wonderful, the second was an okay time.

I’m not going to sugarcoat this. I forgot to look at this app for two days and then got too overwhelmed to open it again for weeks, months? I don’t know. But I’m trying

Suggestion for my gym: a few times a week do themes music slots for those who aren’t so into generic EDM mixes of songs you are slightly familiar with. 90’s Rave Fridays! Classic Soul Sundays! Disco Deep Cuts Tuesdays! Also more locks on the showers, ta.

When people still think it's a fight between bigots and minorities, it isn't

It's a fight between the establishment entire and minorities they're choosing to purge

Cass in the Lords and TT getting an OBE should tell you everything about where we are right now
the thing that absolutely never ceases to amaze me is that a bigot group called themselves "Transgender Trend" - an obvious bigotry implying trans lives are a trendy phase - and not only are they consistently taken more seriously than trans people in Govt

the leader got honours for services to kids
I think this contextualises it better.

I don't see how these groups are equivalent as "stakeholders."
