She/Her
Pinned
Oh, uh, hello new followers!

I don't quite have anything to plug right now, but I'm a writer and film photographer and I mostly talk about music, craft beer, culture, queer stuff, disability stuff, and other such things, sometimes with a PR person lens.

Also I have a cat named Leopold. He's cool.

Chat, is it a good sign when the Atlantic's Thanksgiving take is "cabbage is affordable"?
Cabbage is affordable, delicious, and astoundingly versatile, @giladedelman.bsky.social writes. The underrated crucifer “is fit for a king”:

Embrace cabbage.

And once again glad to have my manager at my side

gotta say, in these cold mornings where I'm also sore as hell, I'm glad to have the espresso machine where I can just make a flat white to start my day off right.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the convenience of the nespresso, but it's just nice to have better coffee now.

Okay, so Diablo games are about that fun mindless grind of seeing like 50 enemies get destroyed in a few seconds.

Seriously though, Necromancer. The skeleton fighters and the Decompose spell seem ridiculously overpowered at times.

I started Diablo IV as a Necromancer and now every time I go into battle I say "Rattle 'em, boys!" to my skeleton army

I'm starting to think, as the pinched nerve pain starts to go away and other fun new pains are increasing, if I may have actually torn a ligament in my shoulder.

Canada is releasing a set of stamps celebrating the nation's graphic novelists.

These stamps feature Kate Beaton, Jimmy Beaulieu, Guy Delisle, Julie Doucet, Bryan Lee O’Malley and Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas, alongside some of their famous works.

A little late in the game, but I've purchased Diablo IV.

All I do is worry and slave and defend you and all I get back is that fucking face on your face, Charlie Brown.
Oh, no tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering, Charlie Brown.
We don't know who struck first, us or them. But we do know it was us that scorched the sky, Charlie Brown.

Anyone in the greater Vancouver/Portland area interested in two Casper mattress dog beds, small size?

We’ve had them for a few years but Abe rarely used them so they’ve just been sitting in our closet, unused, for a while.
The Dog Bed
Reward your dog with the best nights sleep on Casper’s dog bed. Our dog bed is made for dogs of all sizes including small, medium and large.

I'm guessing this was triggered by the "What's the lore on how you got to your career" post here and...look, no shade and maybe some of the professional online haters can enlighten me, but why put in the energy to giving this much of a shit about something so stupid
i am not going to suffer someone asking for your past experiences as "lore" shut the fuck up and find a new word

Everything I know about the Wicked press tour I have learned against my will.

For what it's worth though, they just seem like music theatre weirdos who do a lot of drugs.

As somebody situated in that exact cultural space at that time, this is *mind blowingly accurate.* The landscape is SO different, it feels like remembering a parallel universe.

Anyone with chronic pain or illness will tell you that going out and seeing people is all about risk assessment. Is it worth feeling bad later for?

Well, I went out to hang with friends and played Jackbox and while I'm bedridden and shaking with pain, I can confirm that it was very worth it.

Figures that Bluesky would be Blueskying.

They had a meeting, the nicest thing Mamdani said about it was that it was productive. He stuck to his views and maintained what he always said, that when it comes to the well-being of NYC, he'll talk to Trump.
I’m shocked that hardly anyone is mentioning what a huge red flag Zohran voluntarily yucking it up with Trump is.
