The second panel shows the round, dark figure in the background stand up to reveal itself to be a massive winged creature with moth antennae, the artist's interpretation of Mothman. The figure who was walking in the first panel is revealed to be a furry dog girl with pink hair and glasses, as well as a pink flannel, a spiked writs bracer and a spiked collar. She stands at about a tenth of the size of Mothman. She says, "Sorry it's been a minute. Weird fucking year."

In panel three, we get a close up of her. She holds a duffel back behind her back and looks off to the side. She says, "I meant to call."

In panel two, Mothman's wings begin to glow a ghostly green as green fog envelops the dog girl. He says, "You are here. This is not good news?"

In the second panel, we see her from above as she leans over herself, her figure becoming smaller as it hunches over. She says, "Feels like all I did this year was survive."

In the third panel, a now brightly glowing Mothman looks down at the dog girl and says, "That is not good news?"

In the first panel, the dog girl sits on her duffel bagm holding her body with both arms and looking off to the side. "You know what I mean," she says.

In panel two, we get a close-up of Moth man's eyes, and we see the dog girl's reflection in them. He says, "I do."

In the third panel, we see a ghostly green trail of energy that flows forward towards the camera, with several ghostly green images of the dog girl placed along the trail. They all look sad, in pain, or timid. Surrounding them are several words in various shades of green. They read, "Fear, self-doubt, depression, transphobia, chronic pain, loss, poverty."
