If this involves Schwarbs: cool.

If this does not involve Schearbs: corny.
Is this heaven?

We're heading to Iowa to play in the MLB at Field of Dreams game!

Amen.

I'm as stressed about the offense looking disjointed as anybody, but I'm also pretty confident we repeat.

There's no good reason not to feel joy about all this.
“If the Eagles make you happy, then why the hell are you so sad?”

I wrote about enjoying this Eagles season and this era overall despite the never-ending drama and doomer discourse. open.substack.com/pub/broadstr...

This is disrespectful to the Eagles.

Occurs to me that I forgot Ramon Laureano.

Padres *might* move him? 6.5 mil club option that definitely gets picked up.

Not sure where the Dads are at, strategically. 90-win team that feels a bit stuck.
The O's got great production out of Santander and Cowser in 2024, noped out of Santander on the FA market (smart), and signed O'Neill and Carlson. Which I liked. Ooops.

Now here they are giving up a pretty good young pitcher to try and fill that hole again.

What's the deal w/ Cowser?
November 19, 2025 at 4:44 AM
Whaaaa???

Taylor Ward was a guy I wanted...

I just don't understand this from the O's perspective.

Orioles need more good, controllable pitching? He missed all of 2025, but he's under team control until 2030. Ward's good, not great?
Late-night trade:

The Orioles trade Grayson Rodriguez to the Angels for Taylor Ward.

This is true.

But you know and I know that the overwhelming majority of Americans would sell the Constitution down the river for 2 thousand bucks. Probably a lot less.

Which reflects a broken society that predated all this.

Tobey Maguire has gotten amazing parts in so many good movies, and I just don't understand it.

Shrimpy twerp guy doing vocal fry. Why is he a movie star?
What actor are you so (rationally or not) repulsed by that their work, no matter how good, is unwatchable to you?

Leonardo DiCaprio

Here's the lowdown, btw. I'm on Team Suda, don't really understand why one wouldn't be, tbh.

I don't think academic historians understand how the general public *thinks* about history.

Try and explain what's problematic about Ken Burns to a normie. You won't be wrong, but they'll look at you funny.

Given that, OF COURSE it's important to incorporate voices that usually get silenced...

How would that be done? And is there one consensus/traditional narrative? I think there are multiple ways to describe the c/narrative, with people citing different elements. That’s why some look at this & see a desecrated c/t narrative & others see an essentially undisturbed c/t narrative.

I took a girl to the prom. Matt Ryan was in her class, he was there.

Should I tell him about my skincare routine, or something? This man looks like he's got a decade on me.

Oh! I should tell youse about Snappy Lunch in Mt. Airy, NC. Just down the road from my grandparents' house.

Tiny little legend of a place. They make this delicious fried pork chop sandwich. Ask for it "all the way." Slaw, chili, mustard, tomato, onion...

Worth the trip.
