Nah.
Oh, HELL.

Thinking about a performance of Indian Ink I saw when I was in HS. With my parents. Knocked me over. Laid me flat.

One of the better plays I've ever seen. The sort of play, or read a book or see a painting that makes you feel gratitude to the artist, you know?

Bad writing often reflects disorderly thinking. This is one of those times.

There's no thesis statement. There's a blunderbuss of statements that *could be* a thesis, but...

The point of writing at the collegiate level is to learn to write well. People who write poorly often don't understand that.

Bears are frauds.
“Bears are frauds”

“Say that again?”

I want to expand on this some.

The Lions and Commanders both had what their fanbases thought were really encouraging seasons last year. National press acted like they had better seasons than we did.

In seasons the Eagles won a lot of games, but didn't get to the Super Bowl, that was failure.
We are evaluating our team, and other teams, against our internal expectations.

For decades, that expectation has been a championship. We know what that looks like. That's our yardstick. Eagles have not had that look since the start of the season.

Im instantly muting their sorry asses. Fuck them. They can enjoy mediocrity with the best roster in the NFL if they want to. We aren’t built that way. This team deserved every boo it got at the stadium yesterday. This was 13 weeks in the making. We aren’t a dumb fanbase.

Bingo!!

I don't *care* about the Bears. Love Chicago, it's a great town. I have no beef with them at all.

But I want my team to play well, and it's infuriating that they're not, and there seems to be no sense of urgency from the coaching staff.

This should not be difficult to understand.
What national media needs to get is Eagles fans aren't upset because they lost to the Bears, they're upset about the way they lost to the Bears and how it's something they have seen coming for weeks, maybe months.

I mean, the defense can't consistently generate pressure. And there's been an issue at CB2 we all saw coming.

And they can't stop the run w/o stacking the box. Which is understandable.

The outstanding issue here is that the offense csn't sustain drives. Makes thibg REAL tough for the D.

No. We know the rest of the league is weak. We know that.

Which makes this *more* frustrating. B/c we should be killing these teams. But we've played so badly we haven't.

The issues we all saw clear as day in the beginning of the year have not been cleaned up. We're not exaggerating.
I see soooooooooooo much of this from family and friends who only watch the Eagles.

Not just over exaggerating Philly’s issues, but continually undervaluing opponents and what they do well.

I get it, I watch and view football much differently than most, but it’s like Eagles fans live in a bubble
I would actually recommend that Eagles fans who are "fed up" force themselves to root for another team for a while. And they can't pick the Chiefs (they could have done that any time in the 2010s).

Bills and Ravens fandom is great right now. Right?

A chapter in Hegseth’s book is literally titled “More Lethality, Less Lawyers.”

I’m not sure why AI is so prominent in this article since a historian did the lion’s share of the archival digging and AI simply verified what experts already confirmed.
