I’m not a Zitron “critic”. I’m a person who is actively seeking out thoughtful AI criticism and skepticism. The way the Zitron boosters have reacted is very cult-like

Reading the deck is obviously a fail. But regardless of whether the slides are read aloud, if they contain enough detail that they’d work as a standalone doc then they cannot work well as a presentation aide.

probably my most deeply-held belief: it is not possible for a slide deck to be both (1) a good presentation aide; and (2) a standalone document that can be read and understood in isolation.
