If Congress doesn’t act, the last nuclear arms control treaty between the U.S. and Russia will expire. It would pointlessly wipe out decades of diplomacy, and could spark another arms race that makes the world less safe. This piece is worth the read.

….a building torn in half by a storm still stands. Weathered. Battered. Refusing to fall.
I find inspiration in that kind of resilience. Out there beyond the shoreline, in the unknown darkness, when daylight finally breaks, it is still standing. Still proof that endurance is an act of hope. 🌊

60 species around a dank Branston GPs first thing - nothing spectacular but tardy year ticks with Green Woodpecker, Yellow-legged Gull + Bullfinch. On to Whitemoor Haye - juv Marsh Harrier, 2 Slavonian Grebe, 3+ Grey Partridge + Barnacle Goose.
