This, but with Autograph !!
I used some of the statements from undergroundmathematics.org/quadratics/d... as a starter for Y12 before moving onto the discriminant. It was a nice excuse to get them using sliders and reasoning about graphs in order to reason about equations. #ALevelMaths #MathsToday

I did my A-Levels back in 2002-2004. I did AQA and I remember doing a Mathematical Methods paper, that kind of had bridging algebra that wasn't quite P1 mixed with a little stats (kind of a hybrid paper). Does anyone have any of these past papers scanned and remember how it fit into #ALevelMaths?

If anyone was thinking of getting a SIGNED copy of The Mathematicians' Library for someone for Christmas, I have 42 copies ready and raring to go: £25 (+ £5 delivery in the UK unless you can pick it up from Milton Keynes).

As always, a boost of this post would be much appreciated 😁

Maybe try “plane angle” … since this is the angle between two lines meeting it would have to be 0 to 180 degrees.

Shout out to @joausten.bsky.social and @rjs2212.bsky.social for some really great sessions too: the former being a deep dive into number sense with stuff that translates really well to secondary, and the latter being what I can only describe as a tsunami of maths activities

Maybe @sheena2907.bsky.social , can point you in the right direction …
#ALevelMaths back when I was on twitter, there were some lovely people offering mock oxbridge interviews to students, but I never took them up on it. Now I’ve got two great students who I know would benefit from the experience. Can anyone here point me in the right direction?
