Starting Surds after the holidays (only taught it once)
Anyone got a nice way to start it as my group last year still had some issues after being taught and I know there's a better way.
Anything for anyone north of Watford? 😂
Yey! If it’s like mine and had a really bright clock & you’re light sensitive when going to sleep, you can turn it off using the very right button as you look at the back. Took me too long to work this out.

Left: Requires triangle-interior-angle-sum and straight-angle-sum. 3 steps. Slower?

Right: Exterior Angle Theorem (Euclid 1–32). Requires corresponding and alternate angles. 1 step. Faster?

Right feels cleaner to me ... I wonder what pupils would think?

It will be life changing.
I’m always awake before my mobile alarm goes off now and waking up gently to light is so much nicer than a rude awakening by beeping.
Yes. This one. Love it. 🌅
Seconded.
One of my most valued purchases.
Reminder as we get into the dark season, that if you have trouble getting out of bed when it's dark in the morning, sunrise alarm clocks are awesome and make it so much nicer

As behaviour is a significant reason for teachers leaving the profession, I genuinely believe that a centralised behaviour policy should be made compulsory in all schools.

This is so not ok.
Even if we reduce it to the lying.
What a role model.

(Aside: I have no idea why she even said that. As Lee pointed out; they wouldn’t have known it wasn’t filmed on a weekend?!)

I love all the resources from @draustinmaths, they are always well thought out.

If you need more of these, you can create this type of activity with randomly generated questions on many topics on my site. Choose 'Codebreaker' as Activity Type.

That’s my year 10 lesson planned.

I’ll send you the list of my other lessons for next week. Please and thank you. 😂
I am quite pleased I have no idea what you are talking about
If this was a normal half term it’d nearly be done.
Be gentle with yourselves, folks.

I’m holding the rare seven week Summer break in my mind as a very distant reward.

Can’t decide what to buy on Prime Day?

Try: absolutely nothing, and then go support indie bookstores instead 📚
