Federal judge in Minnesota today:

ICE has violated AT LEAST 96 court orders in 2026 alone.

"This should give pause to anyone...ICE has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence." storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

@durbin.senate.gov @duckworth.senate.gov There is no concession that should be acceptable to Senate Dems short of clawing back as much of the funding for ICE & CBP as possible. DO NOT CAVE for idle promises. It is clear that worse things are planned for our country by its enemies in the White House.
I know all eyes are on Minneapolis, but there's a fast-approaching nightmare in Springfield, Ohio.

Trump is revoking protected status for tens of thousands of Haitians living there on Feb. 3.

Reportedly, on Feb. 4, 1000 ICE agents are arriving to remove this population. Ethnic cleansing.

Two realities:

Hyperreal Simulacrum: Trump has pivoted to a softer more empathetic stance in response to the backlash and is reigning in ICE's excesses

Actual Reality: Trump is putting 5 year olds in concentration camps
NEW: Liam Conejo Ramos, the 5-year-old who ICE agents in Minneapolis nabbed last week and shipped off to a Texas detention facility with his dad, is now in poor health, his school superintendent told me today www.huffpost.com/entry/liam-c...

A federal judge, in a published order, so very much on the record:

YOU. CANNOT. REFORM. PEOPLE. LIKE THIS.

ABOLISH ICE NOW.
An ICE agent attempted to enter the Ecuadorian Consulate in Minneapolis, threatening the staff member who prevented him from entering.

Hello? ICE is so out of control that its agents think they can break international law.

Congress needs to rein them in yesterday.

Sanctuary policies are legal. The Supreme Court has been clear for decades that the federal government cannot commandeer state or local governments to enforce federal immigration law. This isn’t “playing with fire.” It’s constitutional law.

A retired Minneapolis couple who had guns pointed at them by ICE in a church parking lot.

"They were obviously not trained at all. I've known many police officers in my life. These people were right off the streets."

"They had the professional demeanor of criminals."

Scrolling through the photos of Pam Bondi's "Minnesota rioters," it's just hero after hero. Every photo includes a cowardly DHS agent with their back to the camera.

Bondi thinks she's going to win the propaganda war with this shit, but it's never been more clear that they're losing.

This is still unacceptable. There is no reform possible for a culture of lawlessness. You have to rip it up at the root and create a whole new culture.
SCHUMER says Democrats are “united” behind three DHS reforms

1/ End roving patrols; tighten the rules on warrants and require ICE to coordinate with local authorities.

2/ Enforce accountability; a uniform code of conduct.

3/ Require masks off, body cameras on, agents carry ID.

ICE is still terrorizing Minnesota kids: "Two vehicles parked while running on Wilson and Coolidge. They watched a middle school / high school kid get on the bus. After several other observers came out and started following, they circled around the neighborhood several times until finally leaving."

Over the course of nearly two hours, this focus group provided testimonials that underscore just how perilous the once-winning issue of immigration has become for Trump. But it also spotlighted something larger.
This Focus Group Should Absolutely Terrify Trump
They voted for Biden in 2020 and Trump in 2024. And they aren’t happy with what they’re seeing, especially in Minneapolis.

These were both dictionary-definition acts of physical courage. But libs are supposed to be wimps. So the desire is to backfill some reason why Pretti acted stupidly or Omar (who has dealt with threats for years) couldn't really be physically courageous.
