“Don’t tell your constituents what they can and can’t talk to you about,” replied Rev. Nathan Empsall. “What you are voting for is not moral.”

Also, that funding was authorized by Congress. He has no right to stop it. NONE

They are building a GULAG archipelago run by private contractors. Like the "KZ" of Nazi Europe, its us without any kind of public scrutiny or oversight, but also public knowledge of who goes there and rumors about what happens inside.
It can happen here - in Pa. coal country

I went to tiny Tremont, Pa. to see how a former Big Lots warehouse for cheap goods would become an island in a U.S. gulag archipelago, warehousing 7,500 human beings from ICE raids

Well, that's one sane person. Schulkill county has loved their "cottage industry" of....correctional facilities for decades. They just love penal colonies. It's disgraceful considering the history. Nineteen coal miners hung up there in one day. The county drips with irony.

The banality of evil is shocking. An ex-Big Lots warehouse for cheap consumer junk is bought by ICE to ship as many as 7,500 handcuffed human beings, as the Trump regime builds a U.S. gulag archipelago

There is something about using converted warehouses as concentration camps that is too on the nose for late-stage capitalism.

Like you arrest the undocumented workers in an Amazon warehouse and then move them to a former Amazon warehouse.
