What would happen if a leader of any organization in the US got caught saying this? Fired immediately. President says it live on TV during cabinet meeting. We cannot become numb to this. Imagine how you would feel if you were a Somali living in this country.

Zugzwang is now my favorite word. Cannot wait to deploy this is casual conversation.
So it strikes me that the GOP may be stuck in zugzwang. They can't stay put because staying put means eating a D+7 environment in a year at best - a wave they probably can't gerrymander out of.

Oakland No Kings yesterday was fun and thrilling. The drums and marching bands were fantastic. What a thrill to be serenaded with "When the Saints go Marching In!". Great crowd. Young kids and seniors with canes and a woman doing the march in a knee scooter! Inspiring!
