A key part of my evangelical deconstruction was seeing first hand that the "liberal-run media" was a lie and that no one cared about my religion when I was working to be a journalist as long as I was good at my job.

The plea deal turns a potential felony sentence that could mean six years in federal prison and $250,000 in fines into three years of probation and a few thousand dollars in restitution costs.
