Did you know that in Canada, if a budget doesn’t pass the government doesn’t shut down?

Federal workers aren’t furloughed.

Funding for social services doesn’t dry up.

Failure to pass a budget triggers an election.

It puts the politicians jobs on the line.

They get the budget passed.

I didn't want to add another hour of driving today so I found the closest thing to dark sky I could within 10 minutes and it was... Not very dark, but we made it work.

3x 30 second exposures stacked on phone, I think my laser fell out of alignment. I'll come back tomorrow for a better foreground. 🛰️

sure looks pretty for a game that's 9ish years old. yet another W for games that use strong art direction over chasing "realism" @hinterland.bsky.social

Sometimes I see people like 20 tweets deep into an argument with Grok. Like, what are you doing brother? You are trying to win an argument with a vending machine.

Good morning! AI is being force-fed to you by a handful of billionaires who will lose a bunch of money if they fail to convince you that you need it. You do not need it 🫶

Look at all these clowns applauding the idea of paying another clown a stupid amount of money if he manages to turn his lies into reality for them. Pathetic.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk scored a resounding victory as shareholders approved a pay package of as much as $878 billion over the next decade, endorsing his vision of morphing the EV maker into an AI and robotics juggernaut.

That feeling when your game gets covered in some random mainstream tech publication, and then you see they used a 10-year old screenshot.

It is? Because I already think it's...pretty tough. But ok.
Everything about making video games is harder than you think.

Let's make AI jealous.
Write what Al can't touch.
Humans can think with their heads, hearts, and bodies.
Try moving your hands.
It's fine if your mind remains a jumble.
Ideas scattered across the paper.
Sometimes they connect by chance, and something new is born.
Pilot had a massive ad spread in a jp newspaper with "make AI jealous" and "write what AI can't touch" written on it

Anyway I think everyone should own a Pilot kakuno pen

Mamdani is very impressive. Not only is he a fantastic communicator, but his mind is just...sharp as hell. The guy can turn on a dime and just never misses a beat in a discussion or argument. You can see his brain is just going all the time, yet he makes it all look so effortless. Deeply impressive.

👀 Woah.
Scientists have spotted the brightest flare yet from a black hole. The cosmic outburst likely happened because a large star wandered too close to the black hole and got shredded to pieces.

I don't want to start fights or kick dust as part of the "discourse", but there's a certain constituency of game developer Bluesky that's, from my perspective, sounding really really whiny right now.
