it's been my understanding for around 17 years that "ranhoth" meant "wandering army" in Westron, but I hadn't been able to find a good LotR language dictionary with roots and such until today. turns out I was slightly off but close!

whatever happened to into the night/yakamoz s-245? i thought they were incredibly popular and well-received, but in almost 4 years, there has been no official cancellation. i guess one of the actors has said there won't be a s3 but no statement from netflix or the showrunners that i've seen

lol i finished the first mission (freeing the fire station) and then i get the tutorial messages explaining the different ways to infiltrate the fire station & info about fighting the vampire that "i'm about to fight" (aka the one i killed already for the mission)
when you try to start Redfall for the first time, the eula pops up underneath another dialog, so you (almost*) can't play the game at all
evidently this bug has been in the game for over a year and a half. if this is the state of it, do i even bother continuing?

my fallout s2 prediction: it will end with a retro 50s style cover of radiohead, probably exit music (for a film). i don't think jonah nolan can go two full seasons without including them in the soundtrack, and he used exit music in the s3 finale of person of interest & in the s1 finale of westworld

in college, a class i was in took a trip to sweden (uppsala iirc). at heathrow, we had to board one of those airport busses in order to change terminals, and i ended up standing next to patrick dempsey on the bus

Crime Scene Cleaner [on gamepass] was cool! going in i had low expectations for some reason, but it's definitely comparable to powerwash simulator. i loved doing more than *just* cleaning: dealing with trash, bodies, furniture, and dirty tools provided a nice change of pace.
