Excellent reminder. When we look at both World War I + World War II, we had knitting machines that could have made socks, especially. But so many grandmas knitted for their grandsons when they didn't have other ways that they could contribute. We need everyone invested in resistance.
I'd also mention the fact that it's incredibly abelist to define others activism as not-worthy based on... Any metric honestly? People have different strengths and abilities and they all lend themselves to effective activism and denying some1 else's work because it doesn't look how you want it to 🫡

I remember seeing photos of the women’s march with the majority of marchers (proudly) wearing their pink pussy hats. The effect of the sea of pink was striking. To me, that’s effective.
