Here it is: 18K words on how to win with Sanctum Amulet at upcoming RCs.

It's the best deck to play in modern - even if you're just okay at it.

Put a ton of work into this one, so it's $15 or a $5 sub (comes with all my other articles).

Some of you may vaguely remember me running around MC Vegas like a chicken with my head cut off carrying tons of video equipment

It was to bring this idea I had to reality. This was the last major thing I worked on before leaving TCC, but I left before it was done

can't wait to see the result!

lot going on in this screenshot @fireshoes.bsky.social

first time I've timed out on mtgo in maybe 10 years, insane single elim match

Was at 1 for a very very long time

If I'd had time to equip (and do math) would have won :P

genuinely says so much about what twitter has become that the biggest rightwing grift accounts pushing US fascist narratives aren’t real people and not even close to the united states

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

y'know, if tech companies weren't so fired up to call every single thing "AI" it would be a lot easier to distinguish "ML spam filter that is well-sandboxed and tuned on your emails" from "giant context and IP-eroding foundation model that makes people paranoid and unhappy"
since the "google is now training gemini on your email contents" thing keeps bumping around here: it's _not happening_. I say this not to defend google but because I know a lot of people that have broken their filtering and made their lives much more annoying from sheer misinformation.
The malwarebytes Google opting-your-emails-into-ai-training thing is not true. The post is based on one bad tweet.

I know anti-tech lamenting is a Bluesky core principle, but please use the same judgement you would for any other clickbait.

Yes. My entire team thought it was obviously right to play Amulet in Houston and very unclear whether it was right to play for Vegas. A bunch of people switched off it, although those who stayed the course are doing good-ish.

Looks like Amulet is actually slightly underperforming its metagame share in the share of 6-2 or better players after I checked this round (20/184 = 10.8%, day 1 meta was 11% titan).

Wasn't expecting that! For folks more tuned into modern, does it feel like it's more hated now?

doesn't include my actual stance which is "a bear is a 2-power 2-drop" but still funny :P

(I like this and think it’s fine, so maybe your model of bsky is wrong?)
Ok, pretty funny of Zohran’s people to put out the absolute model of the sort of statement that drives Bluesky absolutely *insane* to be studiously ignored On Here because of the source

The thing about working with time, instead of against it, he thought, is that it is not wasted. Even pain counts.

It really (genuinely) shows how hard magic is and how much room there is for skill expression in gameplay that folks can do well with mumble-less titan lol
Years of dedication to Amulet Titan are paying off for Piotr Głogowski: he’s 8-0 overnight at the European RC as he fights his way back to the Pro Tour.

“With hate cards like Ashiok and Moon declining a bit, it’s a good time to play Amulet, and I’ve been getting good matchups today.”

My read is that he’s pragmatically taking what *is* (this guy in the WH with the power to make his mayorship really hard from the get go), rather than what he knows and has strongly articulated *ought to be* (this guy no where near the WH and he and his goons in jail).
all jokes aside, it really beats me what Mamdani was playing at by getting a meeting with Trump (unless he was betting on Trump rolling over in the fashion he did I guess). why? what's the point?

As someone who was also skeptical, the replies to this are very enlightening I think. Basically boils down to he actually wants to win politically and have the power to enact things, which does mean trying to work with people without giving up your explicit material goals. Seems practical

the tagline of this deck is "solving all of the structural problems of UW chant by introducing an additional one (arguably two)"
