Highlighting the speaker who stood in front of the Surprise mayor and told him to consider what the Mayor of Ohrdruf must’ve thought before he died by suicide: “He might have thought ‘how is this my fault I had no jurisdiction over this’ maybe he said ‘this site was not subject to local zoning.’”

The behavior of our big beautiful billionaires over the past several decades is psychologically what I can only describe as "Crying out for consequences." They can't stop themselves and deep down they need to be stopped. They need it as much as we do

Drivers do not care about you. They will murder you or maim you in a crosswalk, and the public will defend their right to do so. The cops will take the driver’s side, you’ll never see justice, and the road will never be redesigned to prevent this.
Exclusive: Two pedestrians struck minutes apart in Babylon and Medford; both incidents caught on camera
Suffolk County police say a 54-year-old man was making a left turn from Ralph Avenue onto Park Avenue around 8:30 a.m. when he hit a 68-year-old woman in the crosswalk.

one thing we need to do as a society is treat all fraud or theft over $100 million or so as a potential capital crime, with the possibility of execution for offenders.

There had better be trials. And not just for the low-level thugs carrying out these orders, but for everyone up the chain of command.

If we get past this, the solution isn’t to pretend it never happened and invite Stephen Miller to Harvard’s Institute of Politics.

It’s trials w real punishments.
A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

The Kansas City firefighter was heading the wrong way on the divided highway. It took stop sticks to bring his SUV to a halt.

The game was incredible by the way, Royals with a come-back win scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the 8th. I had a fantastic time and it reminded me why I love this sport. And that's what's so frustraiting about Sherman having his hand out... 1/3
At the Royals’ game, John Sherman is about 15 rows in front of me. Should I tell that billionaire leech to pay for his own damn stadium?

Smart enough to be a surgeon but too dumb to understand the sunk cost fallacy. Someone needs to tell Dr. Paramjeet Sabharwal that he sucks at real estate investment. O.P. Citizens shouldn't have to put up with his recklessness. (See also: 101 Linwood in KCMO.)

So much about this article is infuriating.

Bought in 2019 by an out-of-state slumlord for $425,000 and left to rot and now the brilliant idea from the City is to give the slumlord a $525,000 windfall by buying the property for $1 million.
