"Weird Al" Yankovic still hasn't been listed in any of the Epstein Files, which of course only further confirms my excellent taste.

I've had a promotional VHS for the test animation that became Batman: The Animated Series for a long time, I bought it on eBay in like...1999? The version they put as a bonus on the DVD said they lost the audio but uh, here it is. You're welcome Bruce Timm.

Tonight I learned that David Bowie was considered to play the villain in "Blade Runner 2049", but he died months before filming and the part was instead given to Jared Leto. And if that isn't the single largest downgrade in movie history, I don't know what is.

I used the volunteer at homeless shelters were the residents worked up to 38 hours per week doing manual labor.

Many employers didn’t want them working 40 hours a week regularly, because then they’d have to offer benefits.
“The working homeless” is not a myth. They want us to be invisible so they don’t have to answer for what this capitalistic hellscape is doing to us all.

It’s real. We exist. We’re a growing class of people (which is why folks want to look away). And I’ll never be quiet about it.

HELL YEAH!!

Look at what we did TOGETHER! Comic-con has quietly changed their language and will NOT allow GenAi imagery in their art show!

And this happened because you all wrote letters, and shared your concerns! Speaking up works EVERY time!

So congrats friends! We did this together!!!

San Diego Comic-Con will no longer allow AI 'art' to be displayed at their event

"Material created by AI either partially or wholly, is not allowed in the art show"

This follows backlash from artists after SDCC initially indicated AI-generated work would be permitted

You won’t be prepared for Sonic’s voice
3. Segasonic Cosmo Fighter

This is a game meant for a kids ride, so it's over in a few minutes with nothing to it and I sure can't emulate the ride part at home either, but I played it because it has the funny Sonic voice

They should bring this voice back imo

A page I was following posted AI "art" and I called them out on it last night. I just discovered that I've been banned from that page.

But hey, it's always a nice gesture when the trash takes itself out, am I right?

There are some things about aging I can tolerate. Longer nose hairs? Fine, I can pluck those.

Gray hair? I can take it, for now.

But gray nose hairs? Absolutely not. This will not do at all.

We are parents of a trans kid and our family takes this very, very personally. If you intentionally make life harder for our beloved daughter, it’s EXTREMELY hard to think of you as an ally, to say the least. @amyklobuchar.com - you still send us requests for money, while hurting our kid. Disgusted.
Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).
