Just as a point of order or something, I know I'm a little elevated at the moment, and I'm doing my best! I'm sure everyone is. Do please take care of yourself. People are reminding you don't have to keep consuming and internalizing awful shit you cannot fix right now, and they're right.

I'm not in the US but an anti-immigration movement is strengthening here too. I had a couple of people voicing their opinions on immigration to me and it's always amazing to see their Pikachu-faces when I say that I'm an immigrant too.
being the child of an immigrant right now is rough. being the child of a white immigrant is weird because i'm like. not sure how much i should worry. but probably it's not no amount. but definitely it's not to the extent that other folks are. but like there's definitely a margin of worry here
