At the ICE raid and subsequent community resistance in Paramount, California this morning, this skater kid ate dozens of munitions from Border Patrol agents, walked away slowly and flipped them off.

I’m so jealous of Tim Walz right now. I can’t imagine how good it must feel to have Elon Musk go on TV and say that you - specifically - hurt his feelings so bad.

@stephenking.bsky.social, this isn’t the take you think it is. I’ve represented hundreds of convicted felons; every one complied fully with judicial orders. Takes like this are used to unfairly attack necessary bail reform.
Is it at all surprising that a convicted felon would ignore a judge's order?

I will tell you what I expect from Democrats. If they do these things I will praise them to high heaven.

(1) Routine objections, even nonsense ones, in the Senate, and objecting to unanimous consent on *everything.* Grind the chamber to a halt. No progress on anything until Musk's goons are gone
these guys literally only know one move and not only is it a terrible move on its own terms, but in this specific case is wildly inadequate to the moment.
No one has tried this before, let's see how it plays out.

Can you imagine losing to one of the worst presidential candidates in the history of this country and then acting like you don't need to fundamentally change your party. Money has rotted our political system.

Giving access to SSNs, other data on government employees to non-employees like Musk is a violation of 5 USC 552a, and carries with it a penalty of $1000 per person whose data was accessed. We are building a case. Govt employees who want to participate should contact me directly

Every lawyer who signs their name to a brief or pleading arguing the president can cancel birthright citizenship by executive order should be disbarred. I'm dead serious.
In a disgraceful act betraying millions of their own residents, Iowa, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming all write to oppose birthright citizenship.

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.

Do you know why a president would do all the most evil and heinous shit via Executive Order? Because his party can't easily make it law. And if they can't make it law, they can't make it last.

Don't let anyone make you feel like this is The End. Do not let them demoralize you. Live to see them die.

If an illegal order purports to remove you from your position, you are duty bound to continue to serve.
