This tracks with LA. They make the spectacle, act like it's over when Bovino leaves and then continue the same level of crackdown without a spotlight after everyone gets used to it.
Federal deployment to Minneapolis "is steady state and expected to continue as planned," per Border Patrol memo leaked to me

The killing of Alex Pretti and the grotesque lying was an overreach by the administration. They've paid a price and had to pull back a bit. But it's when there's some disarray that the democratic opposition needs to intensify the offensive, and turn a marginal tactical success into a major victory.

👇🎯 Again, nothing in the pull back today on ICE changes the fact that Trump has already committed dozens of crimes & acts that everyone who swore the oaths in Congress knows still require immediate impeachment & removal.

Reminder that, as of the latest reports, Liam Ramos is still in prison in Texas - now for 5 days.

His parents are legal asylum seekers with no criminal record.

I spent the morning at the San Antonio immigration court. It’s out of control.

Crawling with ICE - arresting legal immigrants showing up for court appearances.

I asked one officer who they are prioritizing. His answer: everyone.

I need to share with you what I saw.

All it would take is for a bunch of these CEOs to confront Trump in front of the world and tell him he's unfit to run a hot-dog stand, and his presidency would be over. Seriously.

But none of them has the balls to do it.

Dear All Our European Allies,

Once again, I’m sorry we have such a dangerous idiot in the White House. My only advice is this. Trump is a bully, and all bullies are cowards. You can never appease a bully. You must punch a bully in the face. Please do that to Trump.

Sincerely,

An American Citizen

What makes this statement by Emmanuel Macron so unprecedented is, for the first time, a leading European ally is equating Trump with Putin.

“No intimidation or threat will influence us - neither in Ukraine, nor in Greenland, nor anywhere else in the world.”

EVERYTHING has changed.

The thing is, some people can make mistakes, get things wrong, be careless, etc. But that’s not what Jennings did here. Jennings knowingly, purposefully and intentionally lied to utterly distort what was said, which CNN pays him to do every day. CNN is the enabler of this.

All it would take to stop this nightmare called Trump is a handful of Republican congressmen to vote against him. But they won't. They are shameless.

New in PN: Democrats need to shut down Trump's terrorist government

Funding the war on their own constituents would be a grave betrayal.

I think a lot of Americans have (understandably) assumed that this kind of brutal randomized street-level "papers please" enforcement has been how ICE has always done business.

It very much was not, until the past year.
Can confirm I have personally seen three attempts just today of agents in a convoy of ICE vehicles trying to snatch random POCs along Central Ave - and then being chased off by neighbors with whistles. It's blatant racial profiling.

Minneapolis city council member says POC should stay home:
Dear neighbor,

HIGH ALERT‼️ If you are vulnerable to deportation please stay home today. I’m sorry to say this but it’s not safe to be outside. ICE is tearing families apart.

Children of immigrants please keep your family safe.

put this DHS post in the evidence file for the Nuremberg trials
telling the secret police they have immunity to harm & kill citizens really lays bare the hollowness of decades of right-wing GOP screeching about encroaching Big Government - it was never a problem they had with government per se, just that it wasn't being used to harm the people they wanted to
