Just got an eviction notice from my landlord, even though I paid rent. Apparently they lost my check or something, so now I owe $110 late fee despite not actually turning it in late. Could really use some help if people have any to spare.
Could really use some help. Insurance doesn't want to cover my new med, and now apparently I need an ultrasound because of something they found in my blood tests. Which they *should* cover, but it's technically not in the same battery of tests as my physical so who knows??

I bought my dad some nice headphones for his birthday that specifically *don't* muffle outside noise, because he hates not hearing his surroundings. I explained the functions and he understood it all quickly.
But then he asked "why do headphones need batteries?" and my answers were insufficient.

I used Seattle public transit between 2 and 6 times a day to get to and from work 5 days a week for 8 years (and 4 years of college before that) plus anywhere else I went like family gatherings, grocery trips, etc. I can say with some authority that it's pretty good, but it has major problems too.
It's such an example of American exceptionalism that even among the most leftist of Americans, they will refuse to use or acknowledge public transit unless it is the best it possibly could be, continuing to drive their cars instead. Like, if we don't have what the Netherlands have then it's garbage.

So I just got a call from the doctor's office. The blood tests found something they want to set up an ultrasound to check on it. Trying not to freak out, but also terrified this is going to become something serious and / or too expensive for me to actually deal with.

Ever since my pharmacy got a new head person, I've had some sort of problem with every single refill for all but one of my meds (which happens to be the one I'm dropping). And he swears it's never his/the pharmacy's fault.
Getting anxiety/depression medication should not make you anxious/depressed.
