This is so important because A) she did it in response to Benedict Wong, a far more prominent actor, saying he's listening to the audiobooks a lot and B) did it unprompted, she specifically stopped the fluff interview to draw the comparison to the themes of their film and support trans people.
You’ve got to love how actress Kelly Marie Tran, one of the most harassed people ever to be on the internet, still leapt up to defend trans people in a recent interview. No one would blame her for keeping her head down and shutting up forever but she will NOT and I admire her for it ⭐

Life feels quite stressful at the moment. Doggo has 6-8 weeks of recovery following leg surgery yesterday, and several plans had to get cancelled because of sickness and because of the surgery.
My heart feels heavy and a little hurt.
I want to be cuddled and comforted so much right now. 😥

Yeah for people not up to date on the back story, the conservative war on "Gender Ideology" actually started as a response to Gender Theory, and specifically the impact of Judith Butler's "Gender Trouble" at the United Nations summit for women in 1995.
This is more directly about trans people but "gender ideology" has always kind of meant "the abominal idea that men and women can be equal"

This is beautiful. I can't begin to imagine how something like this is made out of paper/card. It's been incredible to see the progress on this and now it's completely. It would be a dream come true to see this in person.
