it has become so obvious in recent months that there are many owners who bought into WNBA or NWSL teams because they were relatively low-cost investments, they didn’t anticipate the market growing at the rate that it has, and are now upset that they’re being asked to keep pace with that growth
The women’s sports boom is here and league leadership in both soccer and basketball aren’t ready for some reason

The inaugural Women’s Club World Cup will take place in January 2028 in the middle of the European domestic football season, FIFA confirmed on Wednesday.

love how the league and board of governors are acting like they had no idea rodman’s contract ended this offseason, all this really could’ve been resolved months ago yet now they’re scrambling to find some random half-assed solution instead of using the time to figure out how to raise the cap
