It's far, far from a crisis and you gotta take a handful of friendly results with a grain of salt, but that's a 0W-3D-1L record for Mexico since winning the Gold Cup, which includes last week's 4-0 loss to Colombia. Challenging tests vs South American opponents continue next month.

Even despite being part of that calamitous defensive moment for Australia's goal, Cristian Roldan really started to win me over in that 1st half. Dangerous shot, some important defensive moments, and of course, that well-timed assist. Not bad.

Moment of brilliance from Enner Valencia, and some good saves in net from Ecuador's Galindez, have been the difference here so far. Fairly even match-up, even tempted to say that the U.S. are looking decent despite the scoreline.
