My aunt Helen passed away today. Everybody’s favourite relative. Witty. Dance party extraordinaire. Giver of advice I use daily: if you’re not sure if you’re hungry, have a spoonful of peanut butter. If you’re hungry after that, figure it out from there. Rest well 🩷

I have not been able to stop thinking about how much I loved this book. Today I got 2 of her other ones (Meet Me At The Lake, One Golden Summer) at the used book store! But now I need to find her first book, Every Summer After. Apparently it needs to be read before One Golden Summer.

My take is that fans are understandably going to feel things when their team loses a final and if you don’t want to see it you can log off for a bit or mute. If you are a fan of any team they *will* inevitably experience something similar and you too will go through it. Let people feel things
