Graham is an old friend of ours from way back— he was a bartender at our neighborhood spot and worked with my wife there. I would run through a brick wall for this guy. Please, please have a look at supporting him. I’d say he is a regular guy, but he’s so much better than regular.
Graham doesn’t fit left-liberal central casting so people are more willing to believe bullshit innuendo about him. People were looking to bury him as a crypto-right winger from day one because of how he looked and his military service. All they needed was a half-assed rationalization

The idea Graham is a Nazi is so absurd on its face to anyone that knows him, it’s really making me lose faith in the power users here.

I'm also frankly pretty floored that, in the sections of this editorial that deal with why Dems lost in 2024, there is no mention at all of inflation. According to the Times, Dems lost because of a bad favorability rating. But their favs weren't bad until after they lost!

Important to realize how huge this 51-52% actually is. This is a federal law enforcement agency. The barriers to convincing the median voter that they’re thugs is very high (because they typically aren’t!). So to get to this point in like the 5th month of this deportation blitz is significant
