Lots of room to improve on the comms, but the good news is this pain will be temporary, but the transfer discounts will last

You can request to get Clipper 2 immediately. I’ll share instructions next week.

I agree, and people will outright say as much when i point it out

But idk I really don't get that. Like, you don't write Coca Cola in cursive just because of the logo

Yup, flat flat flat. I guess this extremely minor mystery will live on 😅

You think that's just a pile of dirt from construction, then, at the bottom of the bldg? My first read was that it looked like a bluff from where they graded the ground level downward

We can restore at least 2019 service if we pass Muni Now, Muni Forever's community parcel tax proposal.

But Daniel Lurie is pushing his own version that would lock in cuts (in order to save millions for downtown companies like Marc Benioff's Salesforce who just got Trump tax cuts). Write a letter!

Is... Maritime plaza on solid ground?? I'd assumed the parking floors went all the way through / we're essentially part of the building

SF has the same problem: a fire department obsessed with the risk they've largely solved (fire) and unwilling to consider safer streets at the same priority. Vision Zero isn't even mentioned in the SFFD capital plan. Hard to buy equipment fit to use when you're not considering the use.

there are *incredibly negative* health effects associated w/ noise

annoyance, dementia, cardiac issues, death

and yet we do NOT measure noise pollution in the US - don't do anything to mitigate it either

in fact it's the opposite: we focus density on the loudest roads

i don't know what it will take for planners to understand that noise pollution, air pollution, and unsafe streets are not the sorts of places we should be focusing dense and affordable housing

this isn't even a major arterial - and look how loud it is midday on a friday.
