Everyone in the world comes to get married at the NYC Marriage Bureau. Last week, the Mayor stopped by to officiate a few of those ceremonies.

Thank you to all the couples who shared their joy with us. Happy Valentine's Day, New York.

I have been privileged to be reporting on Tumbler Ridge for more than a decade.

I wanted to provide a little more context for why it is so incredibly unique and why the word "resilient" keeps popping up when people talk about it

It's a town that doesn't give up

It’s the Birchleg crosscountry Ski Race in Clearwater today.

My authentic Viking helmet from the Royal BC exhibit of a few years back.

I wear it to council meetings during tax season.

You may laugh, but the Macbeths are a much better role model for a marriage than Romeo and Juliet. They discuss their problems (killing the king of Scotland), share their hobbies (killing the king of Scotland), and resolve their conflicts (by killing the king of Scotland).

Any city councillor not speaking out against this is complicit.
Another “Operation Order” police sweep this week. These performative shows of force do not actually tackle the root causes of crime and cost Calgarians $$$$. Mutual aid orgs and unhoused folks face intimidation. Police contact =/= social supports. #yyc #yyccc

This is the most honest, empathetic comfort I have heard from a politician.

Those of us who have grieved deeply can recognize all this.

Prime Minister Carney continues to surprise…
CARNEY: "I know that nothing I can say will bring your children home. I know that no words from me or anyone can fill the silence in your homes tonight and I won't pretend otherwise ... We wanted you to hear that Canadians are with you and we will always be with you."

Dr. Oz emailed an invite to a Valentine's Day party in 2016 to Jeffrey Epstein.

Oz appears several more times in the Epstein files, including an email sent from an account under his name to Epstein on Jan. 1, 2016, that has the subject line "Dr oz." The body of the message is completely redacted.
Senior US health official Oz invited Epstein to Valentine's Day party, documents show
Mehmet Oz sent the invite almost a decade after Epstein's first sex crime charges became public.
