If you're the real @zachbryan.bsky.social, Jun (_js0ng on Instagram) sang "Revival" so well on Stephen Avenue last night, after about 2 hours of singing outside in the winter, that I am now a fan of both of you.

Carrie Tait, and @theglobeandmail.com team that does this work, are going to sell a lot of subscriptions.

Speaking personally, she is a joy to work with. Smart, tough reporter who pushes back on information you give, with tangible due diligence. I have learned as a source from that.

You can too.

Parents who showed more support for public health agencies within the province and the federal government response were more likely to be vaccinated for COVID-19 while those who showed support for the Alberta provincial government were less likely to vaccinate their children.

The amount of constant illness in Alberta, especially among kids, steered parents towards the belief that seasonal vaccines did not work, there was simply no point in getting them, and it was not worth any potential risk.

This was coupled with provincial government messaging

🧵Alberta is already home to one the most severe flu outbreaks in Canada.

We predicted this.

How did it happen?

The amount of illness transmission in the province is serving as a discouragement for many to get vaccinated, alongside restricted access to seasonal vaccines.

Max, I agree with much of what you have written. But Carney negotiated in good faith. He has removed plenty of impediments, and is thus providing an opportunity for Smith and the oil sector to prove that it can get a pipeline built.

Mark Carney managed to trade a pipeline that will never get built for meaningful progress on industrial carbon pricing and electricity interties — both of which will get more wind and solar built.
