Your challenge for the day is to invent a ReformUK policy. On Shrove Tuesday next year we get to see if they’ve adopted it.

Remember, it should appeal to insane pensioners and absolutely nobody else. QT with yours!

I don't want to message or video call with my *living* friends.

All ghoulishness aside, who has time to talk to dead people?
Meta has patented AI that can run a dead person's account, continuing to post and chat on their behalf

It can message and video call by replicating a user's online behavior using their past data

Absolute disgrace. Daniel Hannan is nothing but a tool of the forign based, Hanover dynasty plot that was the 1816 coinage act! Any form of currency other than the standardised coinage of King Offa of Mercia is just woke nonsense. ENGLAND FOR THE ENGLISH! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Dan wasn't even born before decimalisation (nor was he anywhere near the UK when he was born) but still he yearns for Britain's pre-decimal times 55 years later.

Great work from James highlighting the nitty-gritty of the PA cort victory.
The court once again hammering home that they really don't accept the idea that is a peaceful or non-violent group.

This is significant *because they've found in PA's favour*. It is hard to say they're a bunch of kumbayah singing lentil weavers, if you read the judgment.

This is, and bear in mind I can't bear sport, an extremely stupid take.
Not liking spectator sport is one of the best life hacks going. Over a lifetime you'll end up with literally years of time to dedicate to whatever you want, compared to spending it being pointlessly obsessed with other people playing a game

Hear hear! I don't care how much joy you gain from watching a sport, you would be better off spending that time anonymously telling strangers your opinions!

Good!

I've got no issue with people being arrested and charged for breaking into an RAF base and smashing things up, but suggesting that PA are terrorists is batty.
Palestine Action have WON their judicial review in the High Court!
A massive victory for free speech, freedom of association and the right to protest.
A massive defeat for the draconian attempts by Keir Starmer's government to curtail our fundamental rights.

I don't believe one can judge a movie before it's released but I do love Threads; it's one of my favourite films. To read the new production team are saying 'resilience and connection can offer hope even in the most challenging of times' is a bit of a concern.

Unless that hope gets dashed...
Threads director Mick Jackson has expressed worry over the upcoming remake’s focus on finding “hope even in the most challenging of times.”

“That one phrase worried me,” he tells Empire. “Hope is not part of nuclear war.”

Just settling down to watch Wonder Man episode 6.

Yes, I'm taking my time. Because this series is GREAT! How did Disney+ just drop this in one? I'm a pretty big fan of the TV stuff in general, but this is just wonderful.

I would like to see the Met explain fully and clearly why documents being accessible to the public as well as to them is “prejudicial” to their investigation, and why it’s so harmful to their efforts that it serves the public interest to delay or stop disclosure.
In a statement, Commander Ella Marriott said:

“As with any investigation, securing and preserving any potential evidence is vital. For this reason, when approached by the UK Government today with their intent to publish material, we reviewed it immediately and advised that the release of...
