So yes! I'm not spending my time on Twitter any more! You are all I really have left! So here is my creative output!

House to Astonish! It's the ninth longest running comics podcast in the world, a fact I find motivational and somehow also very funny! housetoastonish.com
This is true. I quit Twitter this afternoon and basically nobody gives a shit, and that's the healthy way for people to be, quite frankly

the weird thing about being on the internet is nobody really notices when you disappear cause there’s always enough stuff to fill the timeline. i’m overstating it but it’s partially true. there’s nonzero count of people you forgot about because they stopped posting or deactivated

Society is a construct. You can just ask someone to do a ska cover of Faith of the Heart and they'll say "$300 please" and you give it to them and then you have it.

Everyone, give

your money. They deserve it.

Audience culture is the worst it's ever been, I swear to god. People forgot how to act. I'm at the theater, trying to enjoy my show, which I've paid GOOD MONEY for, and these two old assholes are in the balcony heckling the life out of the poor bear onstage. Not letting him finish a single joke.

Hot take: every game should have one of these and it should be written from the perspective of a twinkle-eyed old wizard by a fireside who starts with "Oho, friend, come in! I didn't see you there! Come sit here with me, and warm your frozen bones." then offers you tea while explaining polyhedrons
Do you think the "Explain what a TTRPG is" page is necessary or not

Just staggering work by one of the UK's finest. Any opportunity to see another Liam Sharp rendition of Man-Thing is a welcome one in my book

Thinking about things that are named for/puns on/references to other things but which are much better known than the original, prompted by realisation of how many more people will know the movie About a Boy than Nirvana's About a Girl

I might need to get off Bsky for a while, just because every time I log on I read something about the AI bubble/crash that makes me completely terrified about what's going to happen to society, me, my family and everyone I love. Fun times!

As someone whose Christmas diet is effectively four courses of Chocolate Orange a day, I'm going to have to try out this approach this year
Just seen a reel of an American eating a Chocolate Orange by just…..biting into it. Like an apple.

I need a lie down.

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.

We have to win the narrative battle between "I live in a corrupt society and that's just how it is" and "I live in a corrupt society and we are going to defeat and humiliate these ghouls."
Good morning to Brazilian reporter Manuela Borges, who’s been waiting eleven years for this petty moment. ❤️ 🇧🇷

BREAKING: Jason Derulo has fallen down the steps at the OBR website
November 26, 2025 at 12:55 PM
Having checked out the OBR book that was uploaded to a mirror link in advance of the original being taken down, I have to say I'm surprised by how much of a focus the Chancellor is putting on Rick Astley

They’re getting rid of the Frank Sinatra music at the dancing fountain in Las Vegas. At the Bellagio casino. And they’re replacing it with Jelly Roll. They’re going to make the water red, white, and blue. And every night they’ll pick one kid to go into the fountain and wave. I’ll be there. Will you?

People are laughing at this, but nobody is stopping to consider the real victim: poor old Officer Fozzy Bear But He's Playing Abraham Lincoln For A Skit
The depositions from the batshit CBP and ICE officials in Chicago have been unsealed. Here's how Russ Hott denied actually knowing anything about one of the weirder claims they made: that a protestor had ripped someone's beard off.

Chappell Roan - Red Wine Supernova (2023) - bonus 11 points

I'm really fascinated by this too. I'm guessing it's something like panto that dates to sometime around 1912 and was ironed on to the UK by, like, wars and that?
A question for American friends. In the UK, an integral part of Christmas is the big tub of wrapped chocolates--not a box of chocolates, a tub (used to be a tin) with a variety of about eight different flavours of chocolates and caramels, individually wrapped. Do you have anything like that?
