Columbia University is helping a government filled with literal Nazis to reward millions of dollars to Zionists who oppose free speech against genocide:
NEW: In dealing with the Trump admin, Columbia is paying a $21 million settlement to Jewish or Israeli staff for claims of harassment/discrimination.

Unclear if non-Zionist affiliates who have faced harassment can file a claim, though terms say Trump admin has "sole discretion."

The only reason not to follow the Prison Rape Elimination Act is if you do not want to eliminate rape
BREAKING: Trump administration plans to end prison rape protections for trans & intersex people, memo says. A DOJ memo says certain standards under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) do not align with Trump’s Jan. 20 anti-trans executive order, @byadamrhodes.bsky.social reports.

it's also kind of funny bc some of these ppl are pretending CVH is just randomly attacking this guy but Halber ranted about him at a conference that the Maryland governor was at lol
It's also interesting because this is way more combative than anything Mamdani has actually said about any Jewish org guy but CVH is getting way less pushback.
Van Hollen getting a lot of criticism in response to this from institutional Jewish American organizations, will be interesting to see if he backs down. Also should be noted that Halber actually attacked CVH first.

it is infuriating how much of this admin's policy agenda and its strategy for pursuing it rests solely on having SCOTUS as a cheat card. very clear pattern:

A) do something illegal
B) court rules don't do that
C) ignore, continue doing illegal thing until SCOTUS rules it was retroactively legal

when i was growing up i was explicitly taught that outside of 'lady jobs' women working *took jobs* from married men with families and that's how a 2 income home, outside of strict necessity and even then - lady jobs, aids the destruction of the family, not just your own.
Chris Rufo—a prominent anti-DEI crusader—-says the “idea that private companies should be able to prioritize hiring married men w/ families is completely within the bounds of rzbl debate, &…it's absurd that individuals cannot hire whomever they want [ie, discriminate] in their own companies…” 1/

Note that Roger Stone refers to Prospera, the Network State city in Honduras, as a "freedom city."

Trump wants to build ten of these cities on federal land, and Stone makes it clear that these fascist cities are, indeed, the Network State.

Trying to explain what's happening to our country without talking about the Network State is like trying explain 9/11 without mentioning Al Qaeda.

One of my take-aways from studying all things ‘collective make-believe’ over the last half-decade is that it really truly does not matter if someone is a grifter or a true believer, and the idea that people can lie (to themselves or others) in “good faith” is a pernicious one in a civil society.

The other thing is you can get a bunch of people to do collective suspension of disbelief together, say, for a stage magic performance and tell them exactly how it’s going to work beforehand and it will *still work*. True belief is not required for the function of collective belief to go brrr.
Once the magic circle is drawn around something, it all becomes play. Wither or not you believe what is going on inside the circle is true or not becomes irrelevant while you are inside the circle. Things become BAD when people inside the circle try to tell people outside it what is real.
