As an historian I often wonder how people learned nothing from the twentieth century and how we have fallen into the mess and rise of fascism yet again and here we are. People simply *don't care* that they are in a military alliance with and dependant on a fascist state when capitalism requires it.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. An entire economy powered by shame and redirected anger.
We need to understand the libidinal composition of anglofascism. It's a carnival, it's pints and packet on a Saturday. It's the feeling the cruelty might finally be worth it, because you get your share, laundered through the images of owned lib, sad migrant, and the cheeky, horny, deporter in chief.
