Rep. Lieu: “Were there any underage girls at any party that Trump attended with Epstein?”

Bondi: “This is so ridiculous…There is no evidence that Donald Trump has committed a crime. Everyone knows that.”

Lieu: “I believe you just lied under oath.”

Bondi: “Don't you ever accuse me of a crime.”

This is why domestic "shuffle" flights between ICE detention centers have skyrocketed, much moreso than ICE deportation flights.

When you are moved to a different jurisdiction, you have to refile your habeas petition all over again. They want to wear people down so they'll give up on their cases.

Remember the incident where DHS claimed officers shot a guy because he attacked them with a snow shovel?

Yeah. It didn't happen. They shot him through the door of his own home. And then arrested him. And then lied about it. Again.

And they almost shot some kids in the process.
They just blindly shot through the fucking door.

New from us: Trump's tax-disclosure lawsuit against the government he runs is mind-bending.

He supervises the private attorneys demanding at least $10 billion in damages--and also the government attorneys authorized to settle the case and pay him with federal money.

ICE isn’t just brutal. It’s also big business. From 2008 to 2021 ICE spent *$1.2 billion* on geolocation tracking, $561M on data analysis, $252M on government databases, and $97M on data brokers. Most of that went to companies who will lobby for this system to stay in place.

Pretti at no point threatened federal agents. He (1) kept a distance and took either photos or videos of the scene with his phone (2) tried to help a woman who was unjustifiably assaulted by federal agents. Then agents assaulted him and shot him within seconds.

Wow! This read-along of the NYT moment-by-moment leading to the murder of Alex Pretti should shake everyone awake. He was a Good Samaritan.

Agents fired at least ten shots in roughly five seconds. DHS and Pam Bondi claim Pretti approached them armed and intent on a “massacre.”
