Shitty opinion aside, running to Fox News to air it should trigger some kind of automatic recall election.
Josh Shapiro can go fuck himself. So goddamn tired of this self-absorbed empty suit.

Best gas masks
“How did these people go out and get gas masks?” AG Bondi asked.

One of the main selling points of data centers is that your gear is in a secure environment, with reliable connectivity to the rest of the Internet, usually with multiple telcos on site. I'm not sure having your servers hurtling through the heavens on laggy ass Starlink meets those requirements.
hi folks, serious journalist here, it's important to understand that this all makes perfect sense if you've completely cooked your brain on Elon fanboy bullshit for the last decade

Went back to the first Spider-Man game (technically the remaster which I was able to import my old save into) to play the DLC which I never finished, and the difference between the two games are surprisingly stark (no pun intended).
Minor spoilers for the main story (I know the game's been out a while, but still): I loved Spidey's gradual descent into madness as the symbiote starts to take him, and when he finally removes it only to lose it, and then suddenly YOU are Venom rampaging through Oscorp...just wow. Amazing game.

I stopped here when I was driving from Austin to Portland and seriously considered giving it a shot. Alas, sanity prevailed (I did not think eating that much food on a road trip was a good idea) but I did have a really great ribeye and enjoyed watching people attempt, and fail, this challenge.
BREAKING: someone is sitting down at the Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo for the 72oz steak lunch challenge.

How do you even spend the rest of your day after this?

Bluesky has the Bruce
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

This is unconscionable. Evil.

But it happened in May 2023, when Biden was president.

So no, we don’t “reform immigration detention,” we destroy ICE, CBP, and DHS. We can’t reform this soul sickness.
Anadith Danay Reyes Álvarez died in government custody.

She had sickle cell and congenital heart disease but couldn’t access timely and adequate medical care.

We need to reform immigration detention.

The Trump admin is scrambling because the secret police it sends out for kidnappings and rioting has been killing people on video then brazenly lying about it, but Schumer's instinct is to whip his caucus into taking a position *more conservative* than that held by the median voter.

He's got to go.
Majority of the country now wants to abolish and/or dismantle ICE and yet Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. told the caucus the message had to be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Once again it looks like Schumer is about to choke after getting a massive opportunity.

So pathetic and weak.
Senate Democrats plot strategy as DHS standoff deepens heading into shutdown week
Two sources who were on a Democratic caucus strategy call Sunday said Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told the group the message must be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Honestly it's one of the most underrated features of the coordinated conservative propaganda machine: they can do stuff like make gay marriage the number one social issue in American politics for 10 years in a row, then, as soon as the polling turns, completely abandon it, and the base just forgets!
I know the phrase “Someday everyone will have been against this,” but ngl I didn’t expect to see this kind of reversal from the chuddiest little freaks happening so quickly.

Bovino’s retirement needs to be a cage. His command environment yielded Renee Good’s death, Alex Pretti’s death & Julio Sosa-Celis’ shooting. Failure to prosecute Bovino & everyone else materially responsible for these atrocities will be understood by ICE, CBP, etc as a green light for the next ones
January 27, 2026 at 1:53 AM
Wellllll, this seems to actually be happening, and absolutely nobody who has the ability (or potential) to hold those responsible to account should fall for it. This should be blood in the water time, not "back off now one guy might be getting pushed under the bus" time. Keep going!
I do actually think if they'd offered up a few sacrificial lambs - the killers of Good and Pretti, the agents who flashbanged the car full of children, maybe Bovino himself - it might have been enough to placate the centrists and create infighting between protestors (ie. most of us) and centrists.

I Have A Great Idea For Retraining ICE Agents | Defector
The several thousand federal agents currently running rampant in the Twin Cities have so far achieved little in the way of legitimate law enforcement objectives, but they have been rather more success...

The fact that conservative movements have dollars slushing around with random ancient billionaires has made them think that's the only way social movements are funded. Genuinely do not realise that this is not normal or how solidarity works.
Pathetic.

Maybe instead of identifying specific ICE agents who do particularly heinous things, we could just penalize everyone who was on payroll at the agency starting by a certain date.

So as to not end my evening with a primal scream, I have been on a huge Spider-Man kick lately - he was my favorite superhero growing up (I even had Spider-Man jammies and bedding). So I rewatched the Raimi trilogy, and even watched the Amazing movies for the first time.

I liked Doggett when I lived in Texas, but this level of cowardice should be scorned. He doesn't need an "excuse", just like he didn't need an "excuse" to let a Nazi fuck like Miller to send stormtroopers into cities. He does shit because he wants to. You cannot appease him, or any Republicans.
Violence only helps Trump & may provide him an excuse to further trample our rights by invoking the Insurrection Act.

My heart feels like it's been shattered into a million pieces. I hope the people responsible for this monstrous act never know a moments peace or happiness again in their lives. I want justice for this boy, his father, and every other person they have terrorized. I want them all held to account.
This is who federal agents are ripping out of their communities and shipping across the country. This is the danger we're being protected from.
