And to be that annoying Ace person there were a grand total of 1 ace characters in (US) TV for this season. And going forward there will be zero. But nobody gives a shit. Not even GLAAD who didn’t bother to even properly mention and count the (lack) of asexual characters on TV.

Some of the responses to this are not normal lmao. Many adults missing the point getting indignant saying “How dare you suggest kid appropriate SF published within this decade” pure stagnation Or ppl suggesting modern authors that are NOT YA/for kids. NK Jemisin is not a children’s author stop
Over on Reddit someone is asking for science fiction for their precocious young reader and the people there are suggesting books that were old when that kid's grandparents were the same age as the kid, for fuck's sake if you didn't know any SF books from this millennium maybe sit this question out
