Everyone just now learning how joint ventures work. Meta only has a 4 year commitment to use this data center. Worry about Blue Owl, not Meta.
Meta’s data-center accounting gets the Jon Weil treatment:

It’s “financed with debt, and neither the data center nor the debt will be on its own balance sheet. That outcome looks too good to be true, and it probably is.”

Finally: I’m pretty convinced AI is a bubble. But you don’t need to do bad financial analysis on NVDA to reach that conclusion. And remember, ALWAYS: the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent.

If mortgage rates go down, the main effect will be higher prices. Buyers buy based on what monthly payment they can afford, not the price of the house.

More supply is always the answer, and yes, in my backyard.
Sheila Bair: "The administration is right to blame the Fed for the high costs of housing, but this is not because it has kept mortgage rates too high. It is because it kept them too low and for too long in years past"
Trump needs to tackle housing supply, not mortgage rates
A focus on cutting interest costs only fuels home price inflation, hitting working families

There is a post circulating on Bluesky encouraging the moving of a frozen turkey straight into a pot of hot oil. We are combating this misinformation the best way we know how - through the power of dance music.

Guys, you can't send people back to measure prices in stores with a time machine. That is literally how the CPI survey works. If you can't understand that stfu about it.

I'm blocking people that quote or reply to this with conspiracist nonsense. You've been warned.
