Gaines' coach at Kentucky reportedly sexually assaulted multiple women but she's not out here talking about protecting those women. She's only interested in a fucked up discriminatory boogeyman. This is made very clear in this episode.

As someone who actually lives near the border it's worth noting that very few Americans do, or ever interact with the border in a meaningful way. They know "chaos at the border" as a story through their tv and phone screens exclusively.
Some Dems and pundits overread the significance of Trump's win. They looked at dissatisfaction with the border and discerned a seismic cultural reaction to immigration levels inside the country. The former was real. The latter is a mirage.

Part of the issue is that Good at Words people are generally inclined to accept that people are all different ways and to think that’s just fine. Good at Math people have been allowed too much room to think that only they have the thoughts that matter.

Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.

One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

I thought the same thing watching it live. I even thought there might be a circus catch to be had.

No idea if he was frustrated at the lack of action but he barely looked interested in catching it before it got knocked away.
Jason Avant made a good point on post game. As comb as that last eagles play was if AJ makes a little effort towards that ball he gets an easy PI
He just kind of gave up on it.

He’s very right about this lol.
my fav thing about Philly as a sports town is the Eagles won but all anyone is going to talk about tomorrow is how dumb that 4th down call was

The analytics agree. Scoring is better than not scoring. The Eagles should try it.
Ok. I think the Eagles should try and score some points this drive.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

A valuable life lesson for young people & political normies of all ages. 1. republicans LIE. It's their default setting. Every politician spins info, and tries to make themselves look good their opponent look bad. This goes beyond that. They LIE
2. The MSM does nothing to counter/correct for #1

There had better be trials. And not just for the low-level thugs carrying out these orders, but for everyone up the chain of command.

If we get past this, the solution isn’t to pretend it never happened and invite Stephen Miller to Harvard’s Institute of Politics.

It’s trials w real punishments.
A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.
