Some people need to understand this.

If you find that I'm generally in agreement with you on political matters, don't jump down my throat the moment I'm not.

If you cannot stand any criticism of your beloved Starmer/Davey/Polanski at all, then you're no longer engaged in politics, but tribalism.
Aren't Government Arms Length Bodies really useful.

They distance Government from problems and everyone, including journalists who should know better, can have a pop at them, whilst never upsetting anyone actually in Government.

The gift that keeps on giving.

A victory for Trump.
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Why Nigel Farage, is the scale of it too big?

Maybe you could ask Arron Banks to fund it!

BREAKING: DOGE has been shut down by the Trump regime to cut cost (?).
Elon came in, cancelled a bunch of government contracts, made sure his companies got billions in government contracts, stole millions of Americans' data, then left.

Important Messages.
Just surfacing here briefly to make a few public service announcements for the greater good:

No, it is not Christmas, it's November.

No, it's not "Black Friday" this week. We live in the UK. (And anyway, today is Monday).

Thank you.

This is a small, rocky planet where three dictators are fighting to become the most powerful of them all.

Meanwhile, the inhabitants are exterminating other species and making their world uninhabitable – but they are too narrow-minded and greedy to take that into account.

A mansion tax isn't how you hit the wealthy - who have a small proportion of their wealth tied up in housing. A mansion tax is how you hit the middle classes - whose only valuable asset is their house.

More cowardice from Labour: afraid to go where the real money is, to go after the super rich.

Government by Daily Mail gossip column.
Great. More vilification from Labour.

Plays right into the hands of the lying liars who wildly overstate instances of benefit fraud, just like kicking the forrins plays into the hands of those burning to give them a good kicking.

We should not rest until the last foodbank closes due to lack of demand
The fact we have any food banks is the best indicator that wages have been flatlined as corporate profits surge. our system is broken and needs a re-set. .GOV should not need to top up folks wages and folk should not need charity to eat in the 21st century. We've gone wrong somewhere.

Today is 92nd anniversary of Holodomor. Soviet Russia inflicted a man made famine on Ukraine that killed millions. Today we are trying to wipe the country off the map.

The only difference is the USA is on our side now.

“Did you, in your roles as his boss, friend, mentor & party leader, ever question his full-throated support for an enemy of the UK and if not, why not?”

Can anyone explain the benefit of the UK government not taking similar action?

Is it apathy, ignorance or fear that keeps UK government on X and complicit on the views expressed there?
