The solution I unfortunately don’t have the funny bones to be a part of
The flaw in everyone who makes a Bluesky bad post is that they come to the conclusion that making the site better involves importing people with centrist politics to talk politics when the actual truthful answer is that we need less politics and more goofs but that’s difficult when the world sucks

This is petty evil queen bs you’d expect to see in a fantasy parody. Is D Trump just doing his best impression of Cersei?

Very frustrated that I want to retort a nothing-burger commentary in MinnPost equating state fair freedom of choice to fossil v renewable freedom of choice, but I don’t have the writing chops to make a good counter commentary without becoming a rant :/

Funny how MAHA folks say they should be allowed to drink raw milk without regulation but vaccines that have literally saved millions require you to have a stroke first
CDC list of medical conditions associated w higher risk for severe COVID-19, you need 1 to to qualify for vaccines now:
-Cancer (solid or blood cancers)
-Cerebrovascular disease (e.g., stroke)
-Chronic kidney disease (any stage)
-Chronic liver disease (fatty liver, cirrhosis, autoimmune hepatitis)
The FDA has overhauled COVID-19 vaccine access. for 2025 updated Pfizer-BioNTech shots are approved only for:
– Adults 65+
– Ages 5–64 with at least one high-risk condition for severe COVID.
If you’re healthy and under 65, you’re no longer automatically eligible.

Elections 101: If you lose big in an endorsement contest that will not determine the election, you should remind people constantly of your loss with baseless accusations of fraud, have your power broker pals overturn the result, then announce "See, I'm not a loser. All the donors tell me so."

A reminder, Nazis will use cult recruitment tactics, including Love-bombing, to bring disaffected white men in. This is dangerously. Orgs on the left have to actively cultivate a reputation of welcoming in order to win over disaffected people before they fall into far more sinister organizations.

In just 10 days, our team delivered 600 yard signs!

When I say this campaign is people-powered – I mean it!

Laura delivered signs by bike & Noah was in the rain to ensure residents can show their support for an affordable MPLS that’s accountable to us.

I'm Jewish and I think about antisemitism all the time. I can't tell you how fucking weird it is that Homeland Security posting literal neo-Nazi propaganda generates less discussion about the threat to Jews than a mayoral candidate who believes Palestinians are human beings.
DHS is recruiting using a not-so-subtle reference to a 1978 book from white nationalist William Gayley Simpson, Which Way Western Man?

Simpson's book was released under an imprint associated with the National Alliance, founded by Turner Diaries author William Luther Pierce.

Honestly one of the most depressing things I’ve heard in a month of depressing things
As the US hits a 33-year high in measles infections, there is now a "race" to find a treatment for the disease.

One pharma company "is banking on a continuing decline in vaccination rates to fuel a need for measles treatments—and in turn, more investor interest"

The Race to Find a Measles Treatment as Infections Surge
The measles vaccine was so effective the disease was considered eliminated in the U.S., but a resurgence of outbreaks is spurring a need for drugs.

Why does this term feel so much worse than the last one? It feels like every day is a new insult and a new way that the rich keep grinding down everyday Americans while convincing those same Americans their suffering is the “woke-mob”’s fault.

A reminder that Elites are the ones that have plundered this country and have pitted the 99% against each other to cover their tracks. Don’t get distracted fighting the working class, fight those that would pour billions into disinformation to fuel culture wars as an “investment”.

Just a reminder that the Medicaid work requirements will absolutely be abused by employers. Workers will DEPEND on scheduled work hours for MEDICINE. An employer could threaten to schedule an employee for 79 hours in a month, unless they take a pay cut, or quit unionizing, or worse.

US law requires hospitals to provide emergency care, regardless of patient ability to pay, in an emergency. Cutting Medicaid, and thus ability to pay, is like incentivizing people run out of gas on the highway rather than refilling when needed. It is dangerous and costs a fortune in emergency towing
