Kind of sad that Xbox hasn't done their wrapped "Year in Review" this year.

Owlchemy is such an amazing team, and I know there's a handful of people in my network that would likely be great fits for this role. Go work with @vrex.bsky.social and co!

Reupping this – if you are someone with epilepsy or photosensitivity, how did the trailers during the Game Awards negatively impact you? Whether watching virtually or in person. I'm working on a piece for this very topic
Genuine question - if you are a disabled player with epilepsy or photo sensitivity, are these trailers negatively impacting you?

Congrats to all the winners and nominees tonight! And our biggest of thanks to folks who turned up on our picket line, took a flier or zine, or showed us support (either in person or online). The industry might be dead, but it is actively being reborn every day by the efforts of us: the developers.

TGAs were a fun watch tonight. Despite it mostly being a giant 3-hour commercial, I enjoy the games industry getting a night to celebrate this widely, even if there continues to be room for improvement.

Forever happy for the pals who contributed to the games that were nominated and/or won.

I finally caved and purchased BALL x PIT digitally for the Switch, so an early “you’re welcome“ for when they announce the physical edition tomorrow that I really was just waiting for but couldn’t fight the itch any longer.

A side note for developers, and I'm being deadly serious: Any idea you have, you had after you left your AAA job. No word, thought, title, synopsis ever goes on another company's computer. Ever. Even a hint or a wink.

Always try to be a legal fortress, never leave them room to come for it.
These stories have existed for the entire history of comics. Creators deserve a stake in characters they create (yes even legacy characters).

Also design work in comics is very often treated as an 'invisible' part of the page rate. That's $0 earned to create a new character from scratch -
