I wanted to show off our regular route to school. I don’t feel like the protected bike lane is separated enough for my son to safely ride it but last winter the snow banks made it *just right* for a day. I’m hoping Milwaukee is able to create bike lanes that are safe for him year-round!

This is a great book! It was very difficult to track down a reasonably-price first edition this year, but now with the updates and additions it looks like I’ll need to pick up a second edition soon too.

As someone happily raised on PBS broadcast TV, I'm convinced that this sort of cheapskat-ism is a specific aspect of midwestern culture.
