The crisis is less “is Elon Musk the president” — whatever — than the reality that the United States functionally has no one in the role.

Trump heads a syndicate of plunderers inside the institutional remnants of the U.S. government — but has in no sense carried out the duties of his office.

Omg. In a shocking moment, Nancy Bolan, a fired USAID worker and tonight’s guest of Rep. Ritchie Torres — reveals that Donald Trump has pulled the U.S. from the global polio eradication initiative — which threatens its spread to the U.S. Every single American should see this.

Liberals need to understand if you're making $25,000 a year or less and your rent is $1700 a month that's $20,000 going towards having a roof your head. Leaving $104 per week to spend on everything else else you need like food.

The average Fox News viewer has no idea that Musk is tearing down a system that allowed this country to rule the world for the past 75 years. And when their standard of living slips dramatically in the next five years they still won’t understand because their TV will blame it on some poor scapegoat.

We worked for months with USAID to build an $85,000,000 project to end TB in two regions of the Philippines.

The project is funded by private money, the Philippine government, and matching USAID funds.

It could provide a blueprint for eliminating TB worldwide--except it's...not happening.

Our deep dive into Musk's takeover: Even some officials who like what Musk is doing feel helpless to hold him accountable. His allies are diving in to agencies, gaining access to systems, planning layoffs, and proposing a sweeping AI initiative to review contracts. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/03/u...
