In 2025, while Canada needs to invest in Energy and Defences, the Energy focus on oil and gas (because we have it to sell) is out of sync with non-poluting trends including solar, wind, geothermal and nuclear. /1

Contrary to what the CPC is always saying, Canada is in fact delightful.

Ah, No.

50 bags of cement mix or a load of 2x4s and plywood do not fit in a cargo bike.

Not to mention the cyclist hostile roads to get to the reno store in the industrial park.
This combination is cheaper than a car payment.

I suspect Air Canada is in significant financial trouble, which partially explains the recent labour dispute/strike.

Airline profitability is down worldwide & reduced US/Can travel and lacks the revenue that US airlines get from loyalty program credit cards.

GWB?
In 2003, I worked in the USA.

As a Canadian, that felt risky. Especially with the elevated (manufactured) fears from Homeland Security.

What made me feel more comfortable, was finding myself in a place with a whole bunch of "🚫W" (No GWB) signs.

This feels like that all over again.
But worse.
