Lyon airport in the late 90s, early 2000s. Two pinball machines as entertainment. Nothing else. I was a child who had been woken up in the early morning and on a coach for three or so hours beforehand. Just a big tent of boredom and despair.

When I find out who on our local council approved 8.20am as an acceptable start time for what sounds like chainsaw work, which has been going on every day for the past two months, I shall hex them to never again find the cheese they want in the supermarket, and always have to wait at traffic lights.
